There are many special events in the area such as Seafair, Oysterfest, Art Festival, Hummingbird Festival, Air Show, Shrimporee, Ole Fiddlers Festival, plus Corpus Christi and the Greyhound Track are only 30 miles away. We have shrimp boat harbors, Big Tree (1000 years old), the leaning oaks, palm trees, art galleries, Fulton Mansion, Texas Maritime Museum and ongoing activities along with our great fishing and birding.

We are an adult park but children are welcome for a weekend or week visit. (Grandchildren in most of our cases.)

If you should have trouble locating us (the street signs are not the greatest) just give us a call and we will meet you and guide you to the park. It would be our pleasure to welcome you to the "The Quiet One", where no one is a stranger for more than a few minutes. If we can be of further service to you just contact us.

The Quiet One is located five blocks off Business Highway 35 on W. James Street. There is a state camping sign just before you get to W. James Street going either north or south. We are surrounded by woods but within 10 minutes of the bay, downtown, the beach, boat ramps, fishing docks, harbors and birding.
